PCT Global Announces Harry Fine as Technical Manager

EnduroShield is pleased to formally introduce Harry Fine as Technical Manager.
Fine joined PCT Global in July 2025 and brings extensive technical leadership and product development experience to the company, with a strong background in innovation, technical service and new product commercialization across construction, industrial and consumer product sectors.

As Technical Manager, Fine supports customers with product testing, technical implementation, training, troubleshooting and the development of new applications. He also works closely with glass fabricators and manufacturing partners to help ensure EnduroShield is applied efficiently, consistently and in alignment with quality expectations.

“One of the things that attracted me to PCT Global is that it is an Australian company with a truly global position in its field,” said Fine. “EnduroShield is clearly on a growth path, and that creates new challenges, new opportunities and an increasing need for strong technical support. It is exciting to be part of that journey.”

A Technical Background Built Around Customer Solutions

Fine’s technical background is rooted in chemical engineering with a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), but his career has focused heavily on technical management, new product development, innovation and customer-facing technical service. Before joining PCT Global, Harry worked across a variety of construction, industrial and consumer product categories, giving him broad experience in helping customers solve practical technical challenges.

While the glass industry represents a new sector for Fine, the core principles of technical support remain familiar.

“At a personal level, I just get a real buzz from solving technical problems,” said Fine. “With construction and manufacturing, you are really trying to solve problems and find the right balance between cost, time and quality. That has been a constant throughout my career.”

That balance is particularly important in protective glass coatings, where customers need a solution that is practical to apply, consistent in production and proven to perform over time. For fabricators, applicators and manufacturers, a coating must be more than technically impressive in a laboratory setting. It must also work in real production environments and support the needs of end users.

Fine sees that combination as one of EnduroShield’s strengths. “When you look at EnduroShield technology, you are really trying to balance easy application with performance and durability. You are trying to satisfy a range of different needs, and I think the EnduroShield technology, at a molecular level, is able to deliver that in a unique way. It is a great foundation to be working with customers with this technology at my fingertips.”

Supporting Customers Beyond the Product

EnduroShield is a long-lasting easy clean protective coating for glass that chemically bonds to the surface to help repel water, oil, soap scum, dirt and grime. The coating is used across residential, commercial, hospitality, architectural, automotive and marine applications through glass fabricators, applicators, manufacturers and industry partners around the world.

For PCT Global, technical support is a critical part of helping customers implement the coating successfully. That support includes training, application guidance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, equipment support and collaboration on new applications.

“When we work with customers, we are not just supplying a product and stepping away,” said Fine. “We help train teams, build relationships with operators and QA staff, and provide support when questions come up later.”

This is especially important for glass fabricators and manufacturing partners applying EnduroShield in production environments. PCT Global supports customers with factory training, application procedures and quality checks designed to help teams apply the coating efficiently and consistently.

Fine said those early relationships are important because they build the foundation for ongoing support.

“When we set up a machine, we go to the factory and train both the factory operators and the QA team in what to look for,” he said. “That training and those relationships set us up for the troubleshooting that happens later. We already have a relationship with the people in the factory, and they know they can call on us.”

Fine explains that one of the most consistent messages he has received from customers is appreciation for PCT Global’s responsiveness.

“The feedback I have received from customers has been very positive, particularly around our ability to help resolve issues quickly,” he said. “It is something we are proud of.”

Why Testing and Performance Matter

Because EnduroShield is an invisible protective coating, customers need confidence that the product will perform as promised. For PCT Global, independent testing and measurable performance are essential parts of building that confidence.

Fine said the market contains many product claims, which makes third-party validation important for fabricators, applicators, manufacturers and end users.

“It is a challenge for all of us today knowing who to believe, because there are a lot of companies out there making all sorts of claims,” he said. “For our customers, they need confidence and trust that the product is actually going to deliver what we say it will deliver.”

EnduroShield has undergone independent testing through organizations including TĂśV Rheinland and Intertek. That testing helps support the performance claims behind the coating and provides customers with evidence from third-party authorities.
“It is not just us putting out a piece of paper,” explained Fine. “We have hard evidence from third parties that stands behind the product. It is not just our own judgment. We are being accessed by the best in the industry.”

For Fine, the distinction between a premium long-lasting protective glass coating and a basic easy clean product comes down to performance, durability and the way the coating interacts with the glass surface.

“The name EnduroShield tells you just about everything you need to know,” he said. “It is really long-lasting performance. It endures. What sits beneath that is the fact that we are chemically bonding to the glass surface. That gives confidence in the durability, but also in the water and oil repellency that underpins our warranty.”

Unlike coatings that sit across the top of the surface, EnduroShield chemically bonds to the glass. Fine said that difference is a key reason the product can provide long-lasting protection.

“We have a unique technology that others can try to imitate, but have not been able to surpass,” he said.

A Global Role Supporting Global Customers

PCT Global serves customers across multiple regions and markets, with EnduroShield applied to glass on global projects and products. Since joining the company, Fine has already visited customers across North America and is working with partners in Europe, Asia and Australia as part of PCT Global’s continued technical support and product development efforts.

“The reality is that every day we are getting queries from all over the world,” said Fine. “Customers are finding new applications, and we are meeting with glass companies and partners in different markets who are looking at new ways to use the technology.”

That international reach is an important part of EnduroShield’s value to customers. Whether a company is manufacturing in North America, Europe, Asia or Australia, PCT Global can help support application, testing and technical requirements through its worldwide network.

“One of the advantages we are able to offer is that wherever customers choose to manufacture their product, we can support them,” said Fine.

Strengthening EnduroShield’s Technical Future

According to Adrian Ray, Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President at PCT Global, Fine’s appointment strengthens the company’s ability to support customers as demand for premium protective glass coatings continues to grow.

“Harry brings a strong combination of technical leadership, commercial understanding and customer-focused problem solving to PCT Global,” said Ray. “As demand for premium protective glass coatings continues to grow, his experience is helping strengthen the technical support, product development and customer partnerships behind EnduroShield.”

Looking ahead, Fine sees his role as being centered on customer growth. That includes solving technical problems, supporting new applications and continually improving the performance and usability of PCT Global’s coating technologies.

“My role is really about supporting the growth of our customers,” said Fine. “Our technology is not static. We are continually looking at ways to improve performance, make products easier to use and help them last longer. As our customers evolve, we will continue finding new ways to help them grow.”

For PCT Global and EnduroShield, that customer-focused approach is central to the next stage of growth. As protective glass coatings become increasingly important across residential, commercial, hospitality, architectural, automotive and marine applications, technical support remains one of the key differentiators behind successful implementation.

With Fine in the Technical Manager role, PCT Global continues to invest in the technical leadership, customer support and product development expertise needed to help customers apply EnduroShield with confidence.
