Designed by the internationally acclaimed Moshe Tzur Architects and Town Planners, HaArba’a Towers in Tel Aviv, Israel features a 100,000sqm glass curtain wall, factory-treated via automated machine with EnduroShield. The water-repellent coating is highly durable and UV resistant, making it an ideal choice for the hot and arid climate.

Protection during construction

 

For the construction industry, EnduroShield has been shown to significantly reduce the etching caused by cement render splashing on the glass. Extensive onsite testing has shown that glass panels treated with EnduroShield can simply be cleaned with a glass cleaner and does not require the use of razor blades for removal, ensuring that the surface stays in pristine condition for handover to the client.

Many don’t associate the seemingly smooth, sleek texture of glass as being porous in nature, but glass actually consists of microscopic hills and valleys which create the perfect environment for the build-up of limescale caused by hard water deposits. Designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, the iconic McKinney & Olive building is LEED v4 O+M: EB Gold certified. As green cleaning practices contribute to LEED credits, EnduroShield was specified to be applied to the 230,000 square feet of sheer curved glass façade to protect against corrosion, etching, and staining, making the glass far easier to clean and maintain.

Sydney Metro – Australia

6000sqm of glass canopy has been treated with EnduroShield for Sydney Metro above ground stations. Our team worked with Empire Facades on the specifications for treating the futuristic style, multi-faceted glass roofing designed by international urban architects Hassell Studio. The coating was applied in-factory and the glass panels were then delivered to site and lifted into place.

Glass Chapel – Australia

The geometric gable window wall in this show-stopping glass chapel in Mangrove Mountain, while impressive, necessitates an easy-clean solution such as EnduroShield. One of the challenges of installing floor to ceiling windows is cleaning and maintenance. To address this, the structure contains glass panels coated with EnduroShield’s low maintenance coating, pre-treated in factory and craned into place.
